Alien Land holding license.

Visitors who are interested in purchasing more than an acre of land for personal use or more than three acres for business are require to apply to the Government of Dominica for an "Alien Land Holding License. The cost of 10% is charged on the value of the land which goes to the Government for the granting of this license.

Purchaser's government fee:

2.5% Judicial fee
4%  Stamp duty
1%  Assurance fund
3%  Solicitors fee 
Plus 15%(VAT) Value added Tax

2.5% Vendors fee.
